As Japan is famous for its fighting sports our tour will start at a movie village where high quality samurai period dramas are filmed, and ninjas and samurai roam the streets. The park hosts several sets depicting streets from bygone ages and up to 200 films are being shot here every year!

This place is not just enjoyed by all children, but also by adults, even if you’re not a fan of samurai films! It will give children the perfect story about there trip in Japan to tell to their friends at school!

In the park both adults and children can have fun by dressingup as a ninja, a geisha or becoming a Hikeshi(traditional firefighter)You won’t be bored as there are many different attractions such as fighting shows, cinema recording, sword fighting classes, street performances, ninja classrooms, etc.

Monkey Park

After our ninja adventures we’re going to a very unique park where you can meet and play with Japanese macaques, also known as ‘Snow monkeys’. It is even possible to help feeding the monkeys! The park hosts a nice hiking trail that goes all the way up to a viewing platform on a hill where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the city of Kyoto while being surrounded by friendly monkeys. Besides monkeys, there are also many deer and up to 100 different kinds of birds to be spot in the trees. The park is exceptionally beautiful when the leaves turn during autumn or when the cherry blossoms come up during spring.

After the park, we’ll have a nice, small stroll along the river and if desired we can then go to an exclusive eel restaurant, which is also listed on the Michelin guide. The restaurant has been established almost 50 years ago and is loved and frequented by local people.
